The So What Speed Shop name was established on the salt flats of Bonneville in 1998 by Shug Hanchard. Shug races at Bonneville and El Mirage and builds pre 34 hot rods for a living under the So What Speed Shop banner in Southern California. Our approach is to keep it looking traditional but strengthen the body & frame. Clean lines and a proper stance make our hot rod’s distinguishable a great ride is what makes them memorable.
